Sonjia is an accomplished cosmetologist, educator, and past salon owner with over a decade of experience in the beauty industry. She is an educator for Surface and is knowledgeable in all things related to the Surface brand family. Her understanding of curly hair runs deep — she has curly hair herself — and she specializes in textured hair of all types, perms, and lived-in color. She welcomes you to come sit in her chair for a wonderful experience.

Mae is a Concord native who fell in love with hair care and the beauty industry while accompanying her family to their hairstylist appointments. Mae pays meticulous attention to detail with every client. She excels at combining technical expertise with exceptional customer service, bringing enthusiasm and genuine care to each appointment. Her commitment to quality ensures consistent results for every client. When not at the salon, Mae enjoys caring for her sweet puppy, Zoe, and exploring her passion for cooking authentic cuisine.

Ashley — NC native and dedicated color artist with just over a year behind the chair. She's passionate about balayage and lived-in color, specializing in seamless blends and natural contrast that grow out beautifully. Ashley loves seeing the finished dimension and movement she creates in each client's hair. Favorite products: Amika. In her free time she enjoys reading and working out. Mariah brings three years of professional experience and a genuine passion for helping every guest leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Her unique, warm approach and impeccable gentle touch make every client feel comfortable, loved, and pampered in the chair. Married six years to a barber, Mariah recently relocated from a beautiful salon in Charlotte and is excited to serve the Concord area.
